DESCRIPTION

Silicon Carbide (SiC) heaters are high-temperature heating elements made from high-purity green silicon carbide. These non-metallic heaters are ideal for industrial applications requiring temperatures from 600°C to 1600°C, offering durability, efficiency, and chemical stability.

APPLICATIONS

  • Metal Industries: Used in powder metallurgy, holding molten aluminum, gas carburizing, and tempering steel parts for automotive and aerospace components. Also applied in hardening and bright annealing of dies and machine parts.
  • Electronics Industry: Ideal for firing ceramic capacitors, sintering alumina, producing integrated circuit substrates, and processing piezoelectric elements. Commonly used in manufacturing thermistors, and ceramic resistors.
  • Porcelain Industry: Used in the fusion and retention of glass, manufacturing ceramics, firing quartz raw materials, and creating fine ceramics.
  • Chemical Industry: Widely used for firing pigments, fluorescent paints, and catalysts. Plays a key role in heating reactive gases, carbonizing coal, and operating cleaning or deodorizing furnaces.

ADVANTAGES

  • Reduced energy costs and carbon footprint due to efficient heat concentration
  • Withstands extreme environments with resistance to oxidation and harmful gases
  • Flexible mounting (vertical or horizontal)
  • Compatible with Silicon Nitride protection tubes for extreme environment
